After 19 Sundays without congregations gathering, St Paul's held its first service in church on Sunday 2nd August 2020. It was in the format of Morning Prayer and the 11 worshippers all wore face coverings - but it was good to be back in church! Image courtesy of Charles Waldron 2nd August 2020.

Coronavirus restrictions eased from 13th June 2020, allowing the church to reopen for private prayer for the first time since March. Here, on Wednesday 24th June 2020, Hazel Price (left) and Emma Waldron wait in the porch to welcome anyone wishing to come into the church and to ensure that social distancing and hygiene rules are observed. Gift Day

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This will be the first of two Gift Days when any financial support which can be offered to our parish church will be greatly appreciated. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been unable to raise funds in the way that we normally would, placing a strain on the church's finances. Projects which had to be put on hold when the virus struck included plans to install a toilet and to repair a part of the roof which is at risk of leaking.

The church will have been decorated in readiness for Harvest Service the following day and visitors will be welcome to view the church. Covid-safe rules will apply.

This will also be the second of two Gift Days when any financial support which can be offered to our parish church will be greatly appreciated. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been unable to raise funds in the way that we normally would, placing a strain on the church's finances.
