Advent was the theme of our Family Service on 1st December, Advent Sunday. Angela Bellamy talked to the young people present about the meaning behind the candles that we light each Sunday in the approach to Christmas. Landkey United Fellowship meeting

This will be an ecumenical meeting with hymns, prayer and a speaker, followed by tea and biscuits. A collection will be made to cover the hire of the hall, speakers' expenses and refreshments. Today's speaker will be Methodist minister, Revd Don Macalister.

Please feel free to come along to the church and enjoy the display of decorated Christmas trees provided by village organisations. They lend a festive feel to the church and visitors can even vote for the tree which they think is the best decorated! This event is held over three days with the trees remaining in place over the Christmas period.

Please feel to come along and help us sing favourite Christmas carols. These will be interspersed with readings from the Bible as well as seasonal poems.

We are a group of locals who are resurrecting the traditional carols written and sung in Landkey (amongst other songs). We have been rehearsing recently and  are now pleased to sing carols around the village. Please note that the start time is approximate - the singing will take place during the evening.
