Due to Covid, we have, unfortunately, had to cancel our service due to be held on Sunday 26th June 2022.

We hope that we will be able to resume services from 3rd July.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

St Paul's Church will be helping to mark the 70th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne during the long weekend of 2nd-5th June 2022.

A full peal of the church bells will be rung on Thursday 2nd June between 10am and 1pm. A full peal lasts three hours and this will be significant for St Paul's as there is no record of a full peal ever having been rung in our parish church before.

We will also be planting a tree as part of the Queen's Green Canopy, with a date for this to be decided soon.

Further details of our involvement in this historic occasion in our nation's history will be posted here as soon as they become available.

8th May 2022 - 22nd May 2022

Christian Aid Week

St Paul’s, in common with other churches, will be supporting Christian Aid Week, 15th - 21st May 2022.

Christian Aid aims to reduce poverty wherever it is encountered around the world. This year, it will be focusing attention on those parts of the world, like Zimbabwe, where the war in Ukraine is raising food prices to levels beyond the reach of many.

We will not be making door-to-door collections, but we would welcome any donations to this cause. If you would like a donation envelope, please let us know via the Contact Us page.
